Today my students created collage trees using scraps of paper cut from our old oak tag paint mats. They glued together different size paper strips for the trunks and branches, then used those collaged trees as stencils! They sprayed on watered down tempera paints over the trees on top of black paper in white and light blue for a wintery effect.
