A large fire involving multiple structures is currently active in Yonkers, according to the Yonkers Fire Department.

Crews with Manheim Township Fire Rescue said the fire began along the 100 block of Deer Ford Drive just before 1 p.m. Monday.

Firefighters are battling a large, fast-moving blaze that is tearing through a Westchester County neighborhood, escalating to a fourth alarm and drawing mutual aid from surrounding communities, fire officials said.

STRATFORD — A two-alarm fire in Stratford early Wednesday caused "extensive fire damage and structural compromise" after spreading to multiple homes by the shoreline, a fire chief said. ESSEX, Md. — Baltimore County Fire is on the scene of a two-alarm fire in Essex. Officials say crews arrived on the scene and found the fire spreading from one house to another. Multiple people were transported to area hospitals for unknown injuries. The fire is currently under control.
