Due to the passing of a cold front, we are starting this Wednesday off cold, but we are just going to get even colder. A secondary cold front is making its way south, and will drop our overnight temps into the teens! Overnight lows will continue to be cold, with lows in the teens continuing into next workweek.

Confidence is increasing that a weekend cold front could bring Texas its coldest temperatures of the winter, as well as possible ice and snow.

Temperatures will stay on the warm side through the weekend, generally reaching the low to mid-80s— well above normal for late January.
